- Using a blender, powder some Bugiri Sugar.
- In a big mixing bowl, pour melted butter and add the powdered sugar to it.
- Pour ¼ hot water into the mix and whisk until the sugar dissolves.
- In another mixing bowl, pour the sour curd and add baking soda to it and whisk well.
- Now pour the previous sugar mixture into the whisked curd and mix continuously.
- Add vanilla essence to the mixture and mix well.
- Using a sieve, add maida and cocoa powder to the mixture.
- Mix well to make a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking tin.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree celsius for 40 minutes.
- Once cool, demould the cake.
- You can garnish the cake with whipped cream, fruits, berries or chocolate/strawberry syrup and serve it.
